ABOUT OUR LOGO
Pentecostal Gospel Temple Ministries PGTM– the Church where the Gospel of salvation is preached, in season and out of season, the concept and requirements of holy living is taught, and where our shepherds seek to minister to the whole person, endeavoring to bring each one into a saving relationship with Jesus Christ, while nurturing them to spiritual maturity, under the direction of the Holy Spirit. We seek to fulfill the divine commands given by God in Mark 16:15 and 12:31.
The cross is the reminder of the ultimate sacrifice that was made for man’s salvation. Jesus Christ died on the cross so that we may live: He paid the price for our sins, and opened the door to redemption. He commanded us, as believers, to take up our cross and follow Him. We have to bear our earthly cross, and die daily to sin that we may inherit this eternal life. Romans 5:8-12.
We believe that the Holy Spirit (the flame) is as alive today as He was on the day of Pentecost when the manifestation took place in the upper room. Just as the pillar of fire lead the Israelites through the wilderness at night, we need the Holy Spirit to dwell in us, leading and guiding us through the ‘wildernesses of life on earth. This flame represents the rudder that steers us in the right direction. I would not want to operate without Him; would you? Acts 2:2-4.
The Bible is the Word of God. Within its pages we will discover the origin of God’s law, His standard of holiness, our need for a Savior, and His love without condemnation. When read and studied, it has the power to change from the inside out. Unless we adhere to the instructions that God has given us in this divine reference manual, we will not, and cannot stand before Him as heirs on the Day of Judgment. Trying to live holy without following these instructions is simply impossible. Psalms 119:11.
